As with any change, we understand you may have some questions about what Valley’s brand evolution means and how it will impact you. To help, we’ve put together this list of answers to some of the questions you might have about the evolution of our brand.
 


 
  • How do you define a brand?

    A brand is a name, term, design, symbol or feature that distinguishes an organization or product from its competitors in the eyes of the customer. Branding is a set of marketing and communication methods that help to differentiate a company or products from competitors, creating a distinctive impression in the minds of customers.

  • Why is Valley refreshing their brand?

    This new brand strategy will stay true to our reputation of integrity and ethical practices, but point us toward a more forward-thinking, innovative future. This new brand strategy allows us to stay relevant in the marketplace with a refreshed logo and it gives us an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to providing an engaging customer experience and a lasting, positive impact on our communities.

  • Why are we shortening our name to Valley?

    Our legal name will remain Valley National Bank. We’re referring to ourselves simply as Valley because you already know us as Valley. So, shortening the name just makes sense.
     

  • What does our new logo stand for?

    We set out to create a logo that embodies the forward-thinking mission of our company, but still embraces the spirit of more than 90 years of trust, integrity and growth.

  • Will your website be changing?

    The biggest change you’ll find with our website is our new URL—we are now Valley.com. We’ve simplified our web address to align with our new brand name/logo. When you visit Valley.com, you’ll notice we also updated the website with our new logo and colors. Everything else, including how to access your accounts, is the same. Be sure to bookmark Valley.com today.

  • Will this change to our brand affect my accounts?

    No, the great news is that nothing will change with how you do business with us. You’ll still be able to access your online banking accounts as you always have. Same with our mobile app, telephone banking and text banking. Your experience will remain the same. The only changes you’ll see is in the look of and feel of our platforms, which will be redesigned using our new brand elements.

  • Can I still use my Valley checks, ATM and debit cards?

    Yes, you can. If you have checks and/or a debit or ATM card with the old logo, you can still use them to make payments and withdraw funds. The next time you order checks or need a new debit or ATM card, they will include our new branding elements.

  • Will this change be impacting my local branch?

    We are in the process of undergoing a branch transformation initiative that will enhance the way you bank at our local branches. Of course, this transformation will take time and you will be informed of our progress along the way. In the meantime, you will see changes to our signage and other in-branch materials to align with our refreshed brand. These changes will take place throughout the weeks and months ahead.
